My College Memory
In 2002 Shanicqua Bynum graduated from Johnson & Wales University, Charleston with her Associates in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor's in food service management. Later that year she accepted a position with Johnson & Wales as a Culinary Demonstrator for the northeast region of the United States. Shanicqua was a great asset in recruiting the first group of students at the Charlotte campus in 2004. In 2005 Shanicqua moved to Providence, RI and began working in Financial Aid as a Financial Planner. While in Providence she completed her MBA in Global Business Management concentrating in Marketing. After departing from JWU Shanicqua continued exceling in the college arena. She held several positions which included, Adjunct Professor, Assistant to the Dean of Weekend College and Technical Assistant Liaison at Nassau Community College.
It is with great pleasure that we welcome Shanicqua Bynum back as our new Admissions Representative for the state of South Carolina. We believe that with her extensive educational background, her thorough knowledge of JWU as student and staff that Shanicqua will excel in her new position with us.
